Multiple PA teams with some of the fastest times of the day. PA has had eight teams break the 8-minute mark for the 4x800 relays in the Prelims already today.
Standing alone on top is Manheim Township with a current fifth-best time in the nation, running a blazing time of 7:40.69. The team of Ethan Peffley, Adam Kingston, Andrew Kemper, and Coleman Stevens is pulling together to run one of the fastest times in Penn Relay history!
Two other schools breaking the 7:50 barrier are Saint Joseph's Prep and North Penn. The team of North Penn won their heat with a time of 7:46.16, the team of Kyle Gordon, Eric Boyce, Justin Landis, and Musa Herzi. St. Joseph's Prep is running the first heat, earning third with a time of 7:47.30, the team of Noah Popp, Robert Mallery, Jalen Williams, and Brady Falcon.
The rest of the sub-8-minute teams are Haverford, Great Valley, Council Rock North, Lower Merion, and Downingtown West.
