Rich D'Ambrosio of Malvern Prep won the pentathalon with a score of 3590. Wallace Spencer of Malvern Prep advances to the finals in the 60 meter hurdles, winning heat 1 in 7.97, breaking 8 seconds for the first time in his career. Matt Bundy also advanced to the finals, winning heat 2 in 8.04.
In the girls pole vault finals, Lauren Terstappen of Phoenixville finished 4th (12-05.50 PR), Brooke Hamscher of Whitehall finished 5th (12-05.50), and Allison Vanek of Wilson Area finished 7th.
Scott Rushton of Episcopal Academy was 5th in the shot put with a mark of 57-00.25. Ayanna Fields of Notre Dame Academy advanced to the finals of the 200 meter dash with a heat victory time of 24.79. Fields was 10th fastest qualifier in the prelims. Baldwin, running as Beall Track Club ran 18:09.64 in the 4xmile relay, finishing 7th overall, and they were also 7th in the 4x800 with a time of 8:00.94. Michelle Davis of West Catholic qualified for the finals of the 400 meter dash with a time of 56.62, placing 10th out of the 12th qualifiers. ![]() NSIC: FRIDAY Wallace Spencer, who had a not-so-great PTFCA State Meet, started his 60 meter path to redemption by anchoring his Malvern Prep shuttle relay team to a 6th place, all-American performance, going 30.74. He then came back with a half hour to win his heat of the 60 meter hurdle trials in an 8:01, his fastest time of the season. Matt Bundy of Penncrest (8.02/2nd) and Eric Futch of Penn Wood (8.28/11th), and Martin Solomon, Chester (8:32/14th) will join Spencer in the semi-finals. West Chester Henderson, running as Warrior TC (anchor Will Kellar pictured left), finished 2nd in the distance medley with a time of 10:18.26. Baldwin, running as Beall Track Club, were 4th in 10:24.42.

Tom Hopkins of The Haverford School took 4th place with his mark of 22-11.75. Brady Gehret of Altoona (Right in photo by Vic Sailer, PhotoRun.net) won the 400 meter dash with a time of 47.69. Tom Hopkins earned his 2nd All-American certificate with his 6th place finish in the 400 in a time of 49.42. Stephen Lewis of Liberty (8.31/17th) and Alex Eaton of Abington (8.40/18th) both advanced to the semi-finals of the 60 meter hurdles In the semi-finals, Stephen Lewis finished 9th with his time of 8.18 and Alex Eaton was 19th with his time of 8.39. Tom Mallon of Central Bucks South finishes 4th in the seeded 800 meter run with a time of 1:53.04. Wade Endress of Altoona finished 8th overall with the fastest time in the unseeded boys 800 meters at 1:54.21. Chloe Schmidt of State College finished 3rd in the seeded 800 meter run with her time of 2:10.75. Brooke Hamscher of Whitehall earned her 2nd All-American certificate of the weekend with her 6th place finish in the pole vault with a height of 11-08.50. Lauren Terstappen of Phoenixville finished 10th with the same height. Cheltenham boys, running as Cheltenham Striders, finished 3rd in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:19.96.NIN: SATURDAY
The Cheltenham boys, running as the Cheltenham Striders, took the 6th and final All American spot in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:31.15, just two hundreths of a second ahead of 7th place Chalfont-Warrington TC (Central Bucks South). Germantown Friends boys took 3rd place in the 4xmile relay with a time of 17:49.55. Methacton girls, running as Eagleville Elite, ran to a 5th place finish in the shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 35.84. Saint Basil's Academy girls, running as Jenkintown Running Company, finished 8th in the distance medley with a time of 12:11.58. Going into the finals, Carlton Lavong of Methacton finished in 2nd place in the triple jump with a new all time state record mark of 50-06.75! Leah Nugent of Abington won her heat of the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.48, placing 11th in the prelims (eight advance).

Conestoga girls, running as Irish Road, claimed the 6th and final All-American spot in the 4x800 meter relay, running 9:22.56. Abington boys, running as Glenside TC, ran to a 2nd place finish in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 7:51.48. Dustin Wilson of Chestnut Hill Academy earned All American honors in the 5000 meter run with his 4th place finish in 15:12.51. Annie Holland of Pennridge cleared 5-09.25 to earn a 4th place tie and All American honors and Natasha McLaren of Stroudsburg finished 9th with a clearance of 5-05.25.

Wallace Spencer won the 60 meter hurdle final with a US#2 time of 7.87! Matt Bundy of Penncrest was scheduled to compete in the finals, but got injured during warm ups.
Vince Perozze of Perkiomen Valley finished 3rd in the mile run with a time of 4:17.56. Ayanna Fields of Notre Dame Academy finished 11th in the finals of the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.91. Kalyn Fisher of Lewisburg finished 11th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:15.44.
West Catholic girls finish 2nd in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:48.75. Penn Wood boys finished 8th in the 4x400 with a time of 3:24.38.
