The Avonworth boys surprised everyone with a 1-3 finish to lead a 68 point charge to the Freedom Invitational championship at Brush Creek Park. Soph Lucas Zarzeczny was across the line in 17:08, with teammate Luke Donovan 33 seconds back. The Mars girls use a pack of four in the top 14 behind junior Brittany Zaborowski\'s 3rd place in 21:19, to hold off Riverside 53-69. Frosh Rachel Erny of Brentwood won the race in 20:14.
