It doesn't get any closer than the boys AA race in District 4. Two teams tied at 99, with the 3rd a point back. Northern Potter, with their 6th and 7th men in on the heels of their 5th, pulled out the tie-breaker over 2nd place Karns City and 3rd place Elk County Catholic. Smethport sophomore Ben Hahn took 1st in 17:43. The Elk County Catholic girls team took care of business with a 20-point win over Rocky Grove. Team leader Maureen Newell was the champ in 21:11. In AAA, it was a team and individual sweep for the Bradford teams in both races. Sarah Lonzi led her team with a 20:51, while Zach Harten crossed the line in 18:17. Both teams scored 22 each.
