PTFCA Men's Athlete of the Year, Tom Mallon of Central Bucks South, comes very close to Vandegrift's record of 148.8h with an amazing 1:49.01 effort. State 800 runner-up and junior Luke Lefebure of Henderson, ran a PR in the race, going 1:51.08.
Missing only state champ Will Kellar of Henderson (who was working the meet), from the top four AAA finishers, Father Judge senior Tom Kehl again came in ahead of Ed Donnelly of Haverford Township and Vince Perozze of Perkiomen Valley. Kehl ran the full mile in 4:13.51, followed by state 4th place finisher Donnelly in 4:15.61 and state 3rd place finisher Perozze in 4:17.76.
Tatnall (DE) sophomore Haley Pierce was the top girl in the open mile, running 4:52.75, with Academy of Notre Dame sophomore Maria Seykora the top PA girl in 5:15.61. Conestoga senior Kacie O'Neil (Right) ran a season best 2:13.64 in the open 800. LaSalle College HS junior Tom Trainer went 15:46.31 in the open 5000.
