Renee Gunning (NC State/Pennridge) took 2nd in the Women\'s Championshp 5000 in 16:06.37. Maureen McCandless (Pitt/Nazareth Academy) was 2nd in the Championship 3000 in 9:18.99, with Gunning coming in in 3rd at 9:22.86. In the same race, for Wissahickon star Paige Miller was 5th for Duke in 9:24.66, while Frances Koons (Villanova/Allentown Central Catholic) was 9th in 9:41.90. In the Men\'s Championship 3000, Sean Duffy (American/Cardinal O\'Hara) was 4th in 8:02.20. O\'Hara grad Steve Hallinan, now at American University, won the Men\'s College mile in 4:09.91.
