At the Boston University Invitational on January 28th, another alum* of that 2001 state championship cross country team from Cedar Cliff showed there's life in those Colts' legs in college. John Butler - now running for LaSalle - was captain of that team, and in Boston, posted an 8:13.41, which was 16th place in the same race as Alan Webb. Also in the race was Buter's teammate - former Springfield Montco's Tim Carroll - who finished 37th in 8:33.43.
