At a tri-meet on 4/5 between Conestoga, Penncrest and Strath Haven at Penncrest, Stoga's Liz Costello had a good afternoon, reports her coach, Ryan Comstock. She led off the 4x8 with a 2:25 split, then won the mile in 5:36, was edged out in the 800 with a 2:20.2 (winner was Vienneau of Strath Haven with a 2:19), before leading off the 4x4 with a 62.5 split. all in less than 2 hours.
And in a dual meet on 4/5 between Harrisburg and Cedar Cliff at the Camp Hill school's West Shore Stadium, Colt Shane Burrows matched his 2004 Pole Vault with a jump of 13-03.
At a dual meet between Mifflinburg and Selinsgrove, Josh Hostetler threw the Javelin 194-05, Jay Pagana was a double victor, with a 44-01.25 Triple Jump and 21-03.25 Long Jump, and Landon Hoffman went 21-02.50.
