Matt Gilmore of Cheltenham continued his winning ways with a victory in the 55 meter dash in a PA#2 time of 6.53. Both Eric Futch of Penn Wood and Chris Williams of Strath Haven ran state leading times of 7.75 in the 55 meter hurdles. But on this night, Futch got the best of Williams in the finals with his 7.75. Cardinal O'Hara won both the 4x200 (1:34.42) and 4x400 meter relays (3:33.08). Wissahickon became the first distance medley relay to hit the state mark and improve their PA#1 time with their winning performance of 10:47.50. Jean-Luc Twyman of Coatesville cleared 6-3 to win the high jump, Chris Williams of William Penn won the triple jump with a mark of 43-05, and Darrell Hill of Penn Wood threw 57-05.75 to win the shot put.

State College Area High School
Chloe Schmidt of State College returned to the track to start her senior season by tying Tori Gerlach of Pennridge for the state lead in the mile with her winning time of 5:14.0. Nikki Kearns of Altoona cleared 5-3 to win the high jump, and Shannon Daniels of State College won both the long jump (15-11.50) and the triple jump (33-09.50).
For the boys, Jamal Devine of Williamsport ran 8.1h to win the 60 meter hurdles, good for PA and US#3, and teammate Austin Rizzo became the new state leader in the long jump with a US#9 mark of 22-8. Wade Endress ran his first race since the Nike Cross National Finals and won the 3000 meter run with a PA#4 time of 9:10.1. Both Alex Shisler of State College and Bryant McCorey of Williamsport both ran 51.1 to tie for the 400 meter dash win.

Tariq Lovelace of Delaware Valley Charter ran a T-US#9 time of 7.07 to win the 60 meter dash. Matt Ahearn of Twin Valley ran a PA#4 time of 2:01.04 to win the 800 meter run. DVGTCA Indoor Meet #4
Lindsay Rheiner of Council Rock North improved her PA#2 mark in the 800 meter run with her winning time of 2:17.12. Natalie Bates of Springside (2:18.20 PA#3) and Sherry Ben-Joseph of Central Bucks West (2:19.57 PA#4) also cracked the 2:20 mark.
Cross Country bronze medalist Hannah Grossman won the mile with a PA#5 mark of 5:14.56. Meghan McGovern of North Penn ran a PA#2 time of 10:27.17 to win the 3000 meter run. Kenya Woodall of Coatesville ran 26.50 to win the 200 meter dash. West Catholic (4:09.05 PA#3) held off Cardinal O'Hara (4:09.69 PA#4) and Strath Haven (4:10.99 PA#5) to win the 4x400 meter relay.

Mike Recia, Bloomsburg, won the shot put with a PA#2 of 57-9. Jess Cygan (5:14.1, PA#5) and Amy Darlington (5:15.3, PA#9) of Liberty placed first and second in the one mile run, Lauren Ellsworth of Lackawanna Trail won both the 200 (26.3) and 400 meter dashes (1:01.0), and Easton ran 1:49.0 to win the 4x200 meter relay. For the boys, Adam Bridgeforth of Nazareth Area won the 55 meter hurdles (8.1) and the long jump (20-00.50) and Nick Atkins of Tunkhannock won the triple jump with a mark of 43-03.00

Margo Britton of Dallastown won the shot put with a PA#2 mark of 40-07.50. Kathleen McPhillips of Carlisle won both the long jump (17-02) triple jump (35-10.50) and pole vault (11 feet even). For the boys, J.P. McCaskey won the 4x800 (8:34.08), the 4x200 (1:36.70) and the 4x400 meter relays (3:41.46). Ben Steele of Central Dauphin East won the pole vault with a mark of 14 feet even. Hassan Beattie of J.P. McCaskey won the long jump (21-00.75) and triple jumps (42-06.25).

Megan Dornish of Elk County Catholic became the new state leader in the shot put with a mark of 41-04.50. Symone Somerset of Hickory threw a PA#3 mark of 38-01.75 to finish 2nd. Franki DiSalvo of McDowell cleared 10-6 to win the pole vault. John Dahlstrand of McDowell won the triple jump with a mark of 41-07.50. Hispanic Games presented by The Navy
Cheltenham won heat 2 of the 4x200 meter relay trials with a US#3 time of 1:30.05. Matt Gilmore (left, in photo by Gregg Armstrong) was on that relay and later in the day he also had a brief moment with the US#1 mark in the 400 meter dash. Gilmore was the winner of the invite 400 in 48.52 and was US#1 at the time. Now it's US#3.
Kyle Moran of Abington was 6th in the invitational mile with a time of 4:21.18. Ned Willig of Great Valley was 8th in the same race in 4:22.43. Both times are the two best in PA this season.
Abington moved up to US#1 in the 4x400 meter relay with a winning time of 3:19.55. Cheltenham moved to US#5 with their 3rd place performance of 3:23.41. Eddie Burgess of Great Valley placed 5th in the 55 meter dash in 6.56 (PA#3). Matt Smalley of Father Judge finished 7th in 6.62 (T-PA#4). Marcus Collins of Monsignor Bonner finished 3rd in the 55 meter hurdles with a new state leading time of 7.69. Christian Lupica of Holy Ghost Prep finished 5th with a PA#4 time of 7.77.
Sean Burns of Delaware Valley finished 2nd in the pole vault with a height of 14-6. Joe Desipio of Cardinal O'Hara was 6th with a height of 13 feet even. Matt Smalley of Father Judge ran 23.05 in the 200 meter dash to move up to PA#3. Holy Ghost Prep finished 6th in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:16.14, which is PA#2. Martin Turner of Chester was 5th in the open 400 heats with a time of 50.85 and Brian Hamilton of Cardinal O'Hara was 8th in 51.33. Matt Duda of Lower Moreland ran 2:00.50 to finish 8th in the 800 meter run. Kevin McGill of Abington finished 4th in the high jump with a mark of 6-2. Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara was 6th in the shot put with a mark of 50-09. Harley LaCroix of Cheltenham was 5th in the triple jump with a mark of 43-03.75
Jenny Guidera of Central Bucks East (Photo by Gregg Armstrong) came close to emulating what teammate Katie Kinkead did in the 3000 meter run at this meet last year. Guidera was 2nd to Foot Locker National Champion Aisling Cuffe and ran a US#3 time of 10:02.91.
Jordan Matthews of Abington improved in her PA#1 400 meter mark with a 4th place finish in a US#5 time of 57.06. Sara Sargent of Pennsbury was 3rd in the invitational mile in a US#9 time of 5:01.97. Angel Piccirillo of Homer Center was 4th in 5:03.46.

Emerald Walden of Plymouth Whitemarsh finished 8th in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.68 (8.44 prelims for PA#2). Teammate Haley Gorenflo finished 2nd in the pole vault with a clearance of 10-6. Shirmari Harris of Simon Gratz finished 6th in the long jump with a mark of 16-08.50. Teammate Tymerah Burgess became the first PA girl under 26 seconds in the 200 with her time of 25.96. Nicole Gratsy ran a PA#2 time in the same event with a time of 26.14. Central Bucks East became the new state leaders in the 4x200 meter relay with their 5th place finish in 1:45.67. Jess Matsinger of Great Valley finished 7th in the triple jump with a mark of 35-06.50.

Imani Brown of Reading won the triple jump with a US#3 mark of 47-05.50 and Donny Scatena of Central Columbia cleared 13-6 to win the pole vault. For the girls, Monica Pechanic of Notre Dame Green Pond and Virginia Lamacchia of Central Columbia were two of three girls who cleared 11-6 in the pole vault. Shelly Black was a double winner, winning the triple jump with a mark of 35-05.75 and the 55 meter hurdles in a US#7 time of 8.28. Reagan Rome of Dallas ran 10:45.90 to win the 3000 meter run.

Jean-Luc Twyman of Coatesville, Paul Lee of COatesville, and Louis Smith of Downingtown West all cleared 6-5 in the high jump, Brent Charlton of Downingtown West beat out Twyman in the triple jump by one inch with a winning jump of 43-10.50, and he won the long jump with a mark of 21-08.50. On the track, Spring Ford ran 3:33.65 to win the 4x400 meter relay, Great Valley ran a PA#8 time of 8:19.02 to win the 4x800 meter relay, Eddie Burgess of Great Valley ran 6.57 to win the 55 meter dash, Mike Robinson of Downingtown West ran 51.72 to win the 400 meter dash, and Tommy Timmins of Phoenixville ran 2:01.21 to win the 800 meter run.

Maria Seykora of Notre Dame ran an aggressive 5:05.45 to win the mile, set a new county meet record, and move up to PA#3 on the state list. Hannah Grossman of Strath Haven finished 2nd with a PA#5 time of 5:10.55. Lydia Ali of Radnor won both the 55 meter dash (7.29) and the 200 meter dash (26.09, PA#2). Rachel Van Metre of Strath Haven won the 55 meter hurdles with a PA#3 time of 8.75 (8.69 prelim). Strath Haven led five teams to state qualifying performances with their winning time of 4:08.43.
