Erie McDowell's boys win by 16 over Kiski Area HS, behind a 4th place finish by Kevin Gorny in 16:42. Avonworth junior Lucas Zarzeczny absolutely obliterated the field, leading by 15 seconds at the mile, 38 seconds at the two mile, and by 1:01 at the finish, going 15:30 for the wire-to-wire victory.
Chelsea Sumney, a Trinity freshman, did her part, starting her team off with one point after here 19:24 win by 34 seconds over Plum sophomore Kara Weichler. But Villa Maria placed five from 9th 22nd to hold off Trinity by five points.
