6th Annual Pennsylvania Distance Festival
West Chester Henderson
   Glen Burkhardt of Unionville ran 4:17.51 to win the mile and hold off Ed Schrom of Central Dauphin. Hong Cho of Wissahickon finished 4th in the 800 meter run and ran his 2nd 1:50 of the year, finishing in 1:50.39. Ned Willig of Great Valley was 6th in 1:51.10. Dustin Wilson of Chestnut Hill Academy won the mixed 5000 meter run with a time of 15:12.31. Maria Seykora of Notre Dame Academy ran against all collegians/post collegians in the 1500 meter run and finished 5th with a time of 4:34.99. Michelle Tracy of West Chester Henderson ran 2:14.60 in the 800 meter run. Katie Nappi of Notre Dame Academy was the top high school girl in the mixed 800 meter run with a time of 2:15.92.For PA alums, Shippensburg's Neely Spence finished 2nd in the 1500 meter run in 4:23.52. Upper Dublin grad Mike Palmisano, now running for Princeton, finished 3rd in the 1500 meter run in 3:50.17. |

Caribbean Scholastic Invitational
Abington's Jordan Matthews and Reading's Imani Brown are representing the US - both in the jumps. On Friday, Brown finished 2nd in the Triple Jump with a leap of 49-02.50 (14.94m(1.7) 15.00m(+0.0) 14.66m(+0.0) 14.41m(+0.0). Teammate Chris Brown of South Carolina won with a meet record jump of 50-00.75. On Saturday, Brown took 4th in the long jump at 21-06.25 (6.56m(0.2) 6.25m(+0.0) FOUL FOUL)
Matthews captured 2nd in the long jump on Saturday going 18-08.75 (5.71m(0.4) 5.30m(0.2) PASS FOUL(0.3).
