The longer the race, the stronger is Leah Nugent, Abington, who wins the 400 hurdles in 57.72.
And anchored by Nugent, the Abington girls 4x400 ran 3:47.46 to take 3rd.
Emma Keenan, Gwynedd Mercy, captured 6th in the 800 meter run in 2:10.77.
Council Rock North took 4th in the 4x100 Meter Relay in 41.91.
Derek Gaul, Schuylkill Valley, long jumped 23-02.25 for 5th.
Luke Gallaher, Forest Hills, PRed with a high jump of 6-8 to take 6th.
Kyle Long, Hempfield (3), threw the discus 182-9 to take 3rd in the discus.
In the Javelin, Kiski Area's Felicia Reid threw 148-9 for 4th, with fellow Pennsylvania Christine Streisel of Tamaqua in 5th with a throw of 148-2.
Amy Darlington, Liberty, captured 6th in the 2000 meter steeplechase in 7:00.53.
In the Girls Heptathlon, Rachel Chernaskey of Pope John Paul II was 4th with 4255 points.
In the Boys 1600 Meter Sprint Medley Relay, Great Valley took 4th in 3:27.71.
Imana Brown of Reading won the triple jump with a leap of 50-6.75, while Jarred Gambrell of Athlens Area was 5th, going 48-11.
In the boys' Javelin, PA took 2nd and 3rd as Tom Lang, St. Pius X, threw 214-10, and Robert Robbins, Northeast Bradford, went 205.9.
PA got two-more all-Americans in the 4x200 meter relays. In the girls race, Abington ran 1:39.15 for 5th, and in the boys race, Council Rock North took 5th in 1:27.83.
In the prelims of the 100 Meter Hurdles, PA's Leah Nugent, Abington (13.64), Shelley Black, Coughlin (13.94) and Emerald Walden, Plymouth Whitemarsh (14.04), all advanced to the finals. And in the finals, Black took 4th in 13.63 and Walden 5th in 13.95.
In the Freshman Mile, Kennedy Weisner, Elk County Catholic, won in 5:06.97.
