Madison Miller of Wilson (3) won the javelin with a US#4 throw of 179-11! North Penn ran 10:40.93 to win the distance medley relay. Spring Ford ran 43.70 to win the 4x100 meter relay and 1:32.31 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Wilson (3) ran 3:26.45 to win the 4x400 meter relay. In his first meet since winning the national title in the triple jump indoors, Imani Brown of Reading won the long jump (21-1.50) and the triple jump (45-6).
For the girls, Katie Catania of Methacon won the long jump (17-7.25) and the triple jump (36-4.75). Methacton also set a meet record in the shuttle hurdle relay (1:04.74) and the distance medley relay (12:36.53). North Penn took home four relays to Methacton's three, including a 1:48.29 4x200 and a 4:13.39 4x400.
AA state champion Christine Streisel of Tamaqua won the javelin with a US#2 mark of 142-6! Jody Ann Evans of Quakertown won the 100 meter dash, running a T-US#19 time of 11.92 in both the prelims and the finals! Elizabeth Chikotas of Saucon Valley ran 5:15.83 to win the 1600 meter run.
For the boys, Eric Hertzog of Tamaqua ran 14.42 to win the 110 meter hurdles. Austin Kohler of Pennridge ran 1:58.00 to win the 800 meter run. Teammate Mike Class ran 11.02 (10.90 prelims) to win the 100 meter dash and 22.36 (22.14 prelims) to win the 200 meter dash. Teammate Nick Stenderowicz ran 50.36 to win the 400 meter dash. Pennridge won the 4x100 (43.42), the 4x400 (3:26.14) and the 4x800 meter relays (8:12.61). Tyler Hope of Tamaqua threw 170-3 to win the javelin.
Great Valley boys won the 4x800 (8:19.19) and 4x200 meter relays (1:32.94). Coatesville won the shuttle hurdles (1:07.67), the 4x100 (44.60), the 4x400 (3:29.04) and the distance medley (11:33.32). For the girls, Coatesville won the 4x800 (9:57.76), the 4x200 (1:47.78), the 4x100 (50.25), and the 4x400 (4:06.30).
Eric Futch of Penn Wood had a very impressive debut in the 300 meter hurdles to kick off the 2012 outdoor season. The reigning outdoor state record holder ran a US#5 time of 37.79 to win the gold medal. Teammate Johnathan Stiles ran 39.18 to finish in 2nd. Penn Wood also added wins in the sprint medley (3:39.37) and 4x200 meter relays (1:36.39).
Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara won the discus (160-3) and the shot put (54-10.50).

For the girls, Garnet Valley ran a US#4 time of 4:14.48 to win the sprint medley relay! Olivia Hassler of Parkland won the javelin with a US#7 throw of 125 feet even! Penncrest won the 4x200 (1:45.49) and 4x800 meter relays (9:51.75). Alyssa Rudawsky of Garnet Valley ran 46.12 to win the 300 meter hurdles.
