Ft. Leboeuf's Bruce Hordusky and Corry's Leslie Gentile broke course records at the first annual Lion Classic Linesville Invitational. Hordusky went 15:54, breaking the record held by former PIAA Runner-up Scott Antoun (Union City) by 4 seconds. He was trailed by teammate R.J. Smith in 16:10. Gentile beat the course record by clocking an 18:56, winning by 18 seconds over Aryn Gruneisen of Fairview, 19:14. McDowell took both team titles, getting 46 points in the girls' race, and 30 in the boys'.
