The effort held off defending state champ Cedar Cliff by a point. Chambersburg junior Kylee Schuler returned the Steel City favor on Cedar Cliff soph Janelle Young by 22 seconds, going 19:12. But Cumberland Valley, behind the 3rd place finish of Beth Troutman in 19:37, easily captured the team title with just 54 points. Ryan Blood, East Pennsboro, and Kyleigh Millhouse, Boiling Springs, easily defend individual titles. Bishop McDevitt girls, behind 2-3 finish of frosh Chelsea Lacko in 20:35 and junior Whitney Bradley in 20:58, with just 33 points.
