Tamaqua took both boys and girls varsity races, with the boys squeaking by Blue Mountain by two points, and the girls placing five in the top nine to win by 50. Pottsville's Shane Clauser took the boys race in 16:54, by four seconds over Tamaqua's Nick Birosik. Tamaqua's Elizabeth Manness and Mary Lichtenberger went one-two in 21:53 and 21:57, respectively.
