9/15 - Two fairview runners break course record, but General McLane comes out on top

In the boys race, two Fairview runners brok the course record, but General McLane (3-6-11-12-32) took the team title by five points over Fairview, 64-69. Chris Schauerman ran 16:06, leading teammate Stephen Hrinda by seven seconds. General McLane's Hayden Harrison was third in 16:22, with Riverside's Brian Godson fourth in 16:34. In the girls race, Maris Reutzel, Meadville, set a new course record of 19:10. Cranberry's Jamie Compagna was second in 19:15. McDowell, let by the third place finish of Stephanie Strub in 19:19 (tying the old course record), took the team title with 51 points, 12 better than Titusville.
