Welcome to our 4th PennTraX. Every two weeks during the three high school seasons, we will bring you review and analysis of PA meets, athletes and teams… give you tips on getting the most out of MileSplit… and meet some very interesting people. We are now through the championship part of the season, and it did not disappoint. When last we left you, we had discussed most of the conference/league meets through the big Tri-States meet in Slippery Rock. We'll pick up the highlights from there and go through what was one of the best state meets ever - from the conditions to the competition. And three classes just demonstrated how deep PA running really is. Joining Don and Lex this week is Henry Klugh of Inside Track and the Keystone Running Club. Let us know what you think. And thanks for supporting PennTrackXC! Our next show will be prior to the Nike Cross Nationals and Foot Lock Nationals a week later.
This show is split into five segments starting with our intro, the Inside Track story and talking running history with Henry Klugh, followed by a segment on the late conference meets and all the Districts races... plus two segments on the PIAA State Championships, with the first focusted on the three girls' races, followed by the three boys' races.
Part One: Don and Lex set the stage for PennTraX 4 and talk about a very cool tool from MileSplit
Part Two: Meet Henry Klugh of Inside Track. He has some great advise for coaches and runners, as well as a few stories.
Part Three: Don and Lex review the late Conference meets, along with all the District meets.
Part Four: Don and Lex talk about the three girls' races at the great state championship meet from 2012.
