A foggy, cool morning gave way to the best prep 5K in PA in over a decade, as senior Craig Miller was challenged by Conestoga Valley sophomore Vince McNally, breaking the finish line in 14:56. McNally was clocked at 15:02. Manheim Township won by 20. Allentown Central Catholic rebounds from a loss last weekend, to win by six over Chambersburg. In Pittsburgh, frosh Natalie Bower leads Latrobe over powers Mt. Lebo and North Allegheny. Van Kooten, Brown battle @ Red, White & Blue Classic. At the Big Red Inv, two Christiansen records were rewritten. In Abington, West Chester East ran the course and the competition to perfection, beating NE#5 Coatesville. Kate Ross wins again. Bonner was picked as a contender to challenge LaSalle in the Philly Catholic League, and they got off to a fast road start in the Mill Street Run... while Christopher Dock won Divison 2 girls with the overall winner, and Council Rock North took Divison 1 behind Allison Sikola.
