MeetFees $250 per school (includes both genders) with 15 or more athletes per gender.
$125 per gender team with 15 or more athletes.
$8 per individual athlete entered by the team.
NO REFUNDS Fees are calculated on your registered athletes as of the Wednesday before the meet at 8:00 pm. You are responsible for no shows or scratches once registration closes.
Payments You must pay by check or cash the day of the meet or mailed ahead of time.

The 400 meter track, 6-lane around, 8-lane straightaway
Horizontal jump, pole vault, high jump, and javelin runways are the same surface as the track.
All other throwing events will be from a cement recessed ring, on the outside of the south end of the track
Spikes longer then 1/4" pyramids are not permitted.

The clerk will be checking spike length just before the races. If your athlete is in violation of this rule, he/she will not be allowed to participate.

We will not be weighing in implements this year.

We will be using FAT timing.

Participants will be allowed four (4) jumps in the Long Jump and four (4) in the Triple Jump with no finals.

Participants will be allowed four (4) throws in the Discus, four (4) throws in the Shot Put and four (4) throws in the Javelin.

There will be minimum marks in the following events:
Shot Put: Girls 28 feet Boys 42 feet
Javelin: Girls 85 feet Boys 143 feet
Discus: Girls 83 feet Boys 120 feet

Each athlete is allowed one mark, but any subsequent marks will not be measured unless they exceed the minimums listed above.

Team scores will be kept. Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.

Results will be posted as they are available.

Medals will be given to the top 3 in each individual event and the top relay in each relay event. The winning athletes (or coach) may pick up their medal in the press box after the official results of that event become available.

Full results will be available after the meet on our track web page and also on MileSplit.

Parking on campus is limited; therefore we are asking buses to unload at the Mangelsdorf entrance; Then park in the North lot at the entrance of the Anderson Center facing Lake Street next to the tennis courts.

Vans and spectators may park in the lot at the top of Mangelsdorf or in available spaces around campus.

Free admission for spectators.

Non-Competitors and fans must remain in the stands

Non-Competitors and fans are not allowed in the infield

NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES (i.e. cell phones, ipods, headphones, etc) - in the infield, throwing areas, jump areas, track, etc.

Misericordia Track Classic t-shirts will be available for purchase at the concession stand in the Metz Fieldhouse Lobby.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Metz Fieldhouse Lobby.

Please note: Any food that your team brings into the facility will not be allowed in the track area, only at your team camp.

Please clean your team camps up before you leave. There will be trash bags inside your registration packets.

Extra traffic becomes a distraction and creates an unsafe environment for competitors and meet management.

Athletes should refrain from throwing footballs, frisbees, or objects in the team camp area or in the track area.

Use the pedestrian sidewalks when walking around campus.
No food or drinks will be allowed inside the track area.
(Only water will be permitted inside the track.)
Unsportsmanlike behavior or failure to follow procedures by coaches or athletes will result in denial of future entries at Misericordia University and you and your team will be removed from the meet.
NO PETS PERMITTED.

1. WE WILL BE VERY STRICT ON THIS RULE! Spikes 1/4 spikes are allowed only on a shoe with a recessed sole. The clerk will be checking spike length just before the races. If your athlete is in violation of this rule, he/she will not be allowed to participate.
2. All athletes in running events or relay teams should check in at the clerks table to receive a hip number. The clerks table is located by the scorers table, near the finish line.
3. Events will be conducted as heats against time. Please be honest with your times!
4. If there are large amounts of heats in the 200m dash, your athletes in that event will be expected to re-declare 30 minutes prior to the event. A sheet will be at the scorers table to scratch them.
5. Heats will be run slow to fast.
6. Heat and lane assignments will be determined before the meet begins. If we see we have scratches, we may redraw.
7. Please get your scratches (by e-mail) to us by 9:00AM on the day of the meet (no later).
8. Results will be posted at the conclusion of each event.

10. Implement weigh-in by the shot put area.
11. PIAA/NFHS rules will be used to govern all competition.
