Please be advised that the date, stadium capacity, event schedule, Coaches Meeting (scratches), etc., have been changed or modified as recommended by the CDC, NFHS, PIAA and the Greater Latrobe School District. At this time, the meet will be co-ed; the genders will not be separated into two meets.
Participating schools must be members of the Westmoreland Area Athletic Directors Association (WAADA). Entry deadline is Thursday, May 13, at 11:59 PM.
Enter and compete three (3) athletes per individual event and one (1) relay team. Coaches must submit a copy of their entries with their scratches to the timing trailer by 9:00 AM. This will eliminate the Coaches' Meeting because of social distancing protocols.
9:00 AM - Coaches must submit scratches to the timing trailer. Vaulters will be weighed, Verification Forms signed and submitted, and poles checked. Throwing implements will be checked and weighed. Field event athletes will be assigned into flights based on individual seed marks. Seven (7) competitors will advance to the finals.
9:30 AM - First Flights of the Boys' Shot Put and Girls' Discus (Girls' Shot Put and Boys' Discus will follow). First Flights of the Boys' Long Jump and Girls Triple Jump (Girls' Long Jump and Boys' Triple Jump will follow).
Girls' Pole Vault (Boys' Pole Vault will follow). Boy's High Jump (Girls' High Jump will follow). The "Five Alive" method will be used for these events.
10:00 AM - Semifinals of the Boys' 110M Hurdles, Girls' 100M Hurdles, Final of the Girls' 4 x 800M Relay, Semifinals of the Boys' and Girls' 100M Dash, Final of the Boys' 4 x 800M Relay, and Semifinals of the Boys and Girls' 200M Dash.
12:00 PM - All Track Event Finals will follow the normal sequence of events and will be Girls then Boys. A Tentative Schedule is available on the Official Meet Web Site.
NOTE: If the meet is ahead of schedule, please alert your athletes and spectators that the meet will continue. Athletes must listen to the event calls and must warm up before reporting to the Clerk of Course. Athletes must be ready to compete when the report to the starting line.
