Meet Information
We are looking forward to the WPIAL Section 6 AA Track & Field Championships, which will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. The following schools are invited to participate: Beth Center, Brownsville, Bentworth, California, Charleroi, Washington, Waynesburg, and West Greene. All schools have committed to attend.
***Entries will be submitted via MileSplit. Registration will open Wednesday, April 21 and will remain open until Monday, April 26 at midnight. Password (Section6AA) is required for registration.***
No add in or replacements. Scratches only. Scratches for field events can take place at the event.
Coaches meeting will be at 11:00 AM.
During the coaches meeting we will start the Javelin and High Jump at 11:15 AM
Boys Javelin and Girls High Jump followed by Girls Javelin and Boys High Jump
Field event order will be Girls Long Jump, Boys Triple Jump, Boys Discus, Girls Shot Put. These events will be followed immediately by the opposite (girls will go to boys and boys will go to girls)
Field events (except for javelin and high jump) and running events will start at 12:15 PM.
The standard order of events will be used. NO TRIALS. All events will be a FINAL.
Each event will be limited to 3 entries and 1 relay team per school.
Heats will be run slowest to fastest, except for the distance events
Throwing and jumping events will be limited to 3 throws and 3 attempts.
All javelin and discus marks, round down to the nearest inch.
No short lines on field events
Medals will be awarded to the top 4 individuals per event and the top 3 relay teams.
Each school is asked and required to work the following events for both boys and girls:
High Jump.....Brownsville
Long Jump.....West Greene (Bring measuring tape)
Triple Jump.....Beth Center (Bring measuring tape)
Javelin.....Bentworth (Bring measuring tape)
Discus.....Washington (Bring measuring tape)
Shot Put.....Waynesburg (Bring measuring tape)
Pole Vault.....Waynesburg/California
Finish Line.....Charleroi/California
Spectators will be permitted. Masks are required and social distancing must be maintained. No concessions will be available.

Please share with your athletes. Orders can be claimed on the day of the meet.
