Meet Information
Below are the results from Saturday Oct 8. As most know my timing company had a major
computer breakdown during the 1 st 2 races ( girls & boys varsity). Briefly, within 2 minutes of the finish of the girls race the primary laptop crashed. This laptop had the Lynx camera, Identilynx, running clock & Ipico Chip Reader networked. We started hand recording the order of finish along with times off both watches. We captured the top 25.
With this happening we started to replace the laptop with our backup networking into the system &
restart all 4 pieces of equipment & test. This took 20-25 minutes, with the Boys race coming in. After
the system came back up & testing, we were able to capture both the JV & M/S races. The Ipico
reader stores the chips from each athlete crosses the line. We worked late Saturday night, all day
Sunday & Monday to recover the chip finishes. Unfortunately, both Varsity races could not be
recovered, therefore we used our hand recorded order of finish & times.
I know this is not what you want to hear, in 25+ years of timing this has never happened to us.
***Varsity races are CLOSED as of JUNE 10! JV and MS remain open, no cap on entries***
Championship season is just around the corner! Determine who's in your top seven by running up to EIGHT (8) runners in the VARSITY races in Gettysburg ...the site of other historic "deciding battles."

HIGH SCHOOL - $120 per gender TEAM per School ($240 boys & girls) THIS APPLIES TO "JV ONLY" TEAM ENTRIES
MIDDLE SCHOOL (7th & 8th grade) - $65 per gender TEAM per School ($130 boys & girls)

MS Girls - 11:30 (2 miles)- 7th & 8th grade only
MS Boys - 12:00 p.m. (2 miles) - 7th & 8th grade only
MS Awards - 12:30
Please enter 5-8 runners in Varsity, 30 for JV, no limit for Middle School. You will be able to substitute any entered runner on race day since all runners will be chipped.

This meet is sanctioned through the PIAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Competing schools must be members of their state association that itself is a member of NFHS.
