MEET INFORMATION Additional Meet Information- Bus Parking on Great Valley Campus on 4/20Due to multiple events on campus Saturday morning, buses should enter the using the front driveway on Phoenixville Pike. Buses will be directed to drop off athletes in FRONT of the stadium along the middle school, then continue out of the middle school entrance to park at either KD Markley or Charlestown Elementary. We would like to invite you and your track & field team(s) to compete in the Great Valley R. Joseph Kellerman Invitational to be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019. The meet will begin with the throwing events at 9:00 a.m. and the running events at 10:00 a.m. The time schedule on the track will be a "rolling" schedule, with the first event beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the next event beginning at the conclusion of the previous event.
With our meet being held the weekend before Penn Relays, combined with the pressure to meet PIAA High School Track & Field District qualifying standards, meet management has decided to replace the relay format with a more traditional invitational format. We will be keeping the throwers relay, a crowd favorite, and adding an additional entry for all of the field events.
Included in this attachment is a schedule of events, general information, and entry information. The fee will be $130.00 per team, $240.00 for both boys' and girls' teams, or $25.00 per track event relay, $20.00 per field or individual track event.
The same custom medals will be awarded as in our past meets, and will be presented to the top five finishers in each event. We will continue to give commemorative batons the winners of each relay event.
If you are interested in attending, please fill out the entry form and return by April 1, 2019. Please remit all payments by April 15, 2019.
