Montgomery Memorial Meet 2022

Meet Information

Dear Coach:

This year we will host the 24th annual Montgomery Memorial Meet on Thursday, May 5, 2022. We would like to invite you to bring your team to participate in the invitational.  The cost is still $125.00 per squad ($250.00 if you bring both boys and a girls team), and we will ask you to assist us by supplying one coach who can help officiate, though we do hope to again have enough volunteers so we do not have to use many coaches.

We will be following the Centennial School District Health and Safety Policy:  At the present time, the CSD has a mask optional policy, and spectators are permitted.  Should there be any change to the policy, we will try to make you aware and will post signs at the meet.

You may enter 2 athletes per event as we have in most years.  Throwers and Long/Triple jumpers will get 3 attempts, and we will use a short line in those field events as well.

The track has recently been resurfaced.  Again, we ask that you use 1/8 spikes on the track and runways.

Further, all uniform tops should be tucked in to avoid problems reading hip numbers.  FYI -- The 4x400 relays will use three-turn staggers at the start.

It is important that before March 18 each head coach e-mail Ted Abel at tedabel1@verizon.net  to tell us whether or not you intend to participate this yearPlease include the name of the coach who can assist us as well as his or her preferred assignment so that we have a list should we need to use coaches.

Once again for this years meet all entries will be done through PennTrackXC.com (http://pa.milesplit.us). Registration begins on April 1 and must be completed by 12:01 AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, (yes, that is one minute after midnight of Monday into Tuesday, May 2/3!) so we can seed the meet.  As always, important changes can be made at the meet though seedings will not be changed.

Checks should be made payable to Montgomery Memorial Meet Account and should be mailed to arrive at the address below by Monday, April 25 (though we will take checks at the meet).
