Meet Information
WAADA Middle School Cross Country Championships
Participating Schools: McKeesport, Indiana Area, Greensburg Salem, Norwin, Greensburg Central Catholic, Penn Trafford, Hempfield, Kiski Area, Greater Latrobe, Plum, Gateway, Franklin Regional, Derry Area, Belle Vernon, and Connellsville.
Location: White Oak Park, 2621 McClintock Road, White Oak, PA 15131. Check-in, packet pick-up, and t-shirt sales will be held at Magnolia Grove Pavilion.
Parking: Parking will be available at all groves in the park, except for Magnolia Grove. Bus drop-offs can be at the Magnolia Grove, but busses must park elsewhere.
Date and Time: Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, Course walk will begin at 1:30pm. Boys Championship Race starts at 3:00pm, Girls Championship Race starts at approximately 3:30pm. Combined Open Race starts at approximately 4:00pm. Awards presentation is at approximately 4:30pm. We will use a rolling schedule after the first race.
Course: 3K course on grass. Spikes are permitted.
Individual Awards: Top 25 finishers in the Boys & Girls Championship races receive medals. Top 10 Boys & Girls in the Open Races receive medals.
Team Scoring: Only 7 runners are permitted for each school in each Championship race with the top 5 counting for scoring.
Team Awards: Top 2 teams in each Championship Race will be awarded a trophy.
Timing and Results: Team and Individual results will be posted by the timing service, and on the PennTrackXCs website.
Entry Fees: $200.00 per school. $25.00 per individual for schools with incomplete teams. Checks are to be made payable to McKeesport Tigers Cross Country. Contact me at mbacco@mckasd.net, if you need an invoice.
