Meet Information
WHAT: TRACK THROWERS ONLY EVENT (Javelin/Shot/Disc)
WHERE: UPPER DARBY HIGH SCHOOL ( Memorial Field)
WHEN: Monday, April 25th, 2022
TIME: 3:00 arrival / coaches mtg at 3:15 / throws start at 3:45 (may start earlier if all checked in and ready). Buses may not park on campus due to dismissal. Buses may return at 4:00 and park in the front lot.
COST: $10 per thrower; Checks made payable to Upper Darby Track Boosters
*Limit is 8 teams
*Up to 5 throwers per team / per event. (If you need more, contact us. Additional spots may be available on a first come first served basis)
*Each thrower will receive at least 1 measured throw (out of 4) per event.
Subsequent standards:
GIRLS: Javelin: 60 ft / disc: 55 ft / shot:21 ft / 4 throws. No finals. Top 6 Medal
BOYS: Javelin: 80 ft/ disc 75 ft./ shot: 30 ft. /4 throws. No finals. Top 6 Medal
*Teams will use bleachers closest to the Javelin and area to the left discus as homebase. (Javelin can be observed from Visitor Stands. Shot and Disc can be observed from bleachers near the event OR from the access road above.)
*There will be a snack bar. Please take all trash. A trash bag will be provided for each team.
*A trainer will be on campus if needed.
*Each team is asked to provide 1 worker to help run the throwing events.
*ALL COACHES, ATHLETES, & PARENTS MUST follow the current UDSD Covid mitigation guidelines at the time of competition. Sanitizing stations will be available at all events.
