Cost: $210 Cash or check made payable to "BHSSA" or Venmo
"BHSSA".Rules & Information:
- Maximum of 2 competitors per school per each individual event. This will allow the meet to finish at a decent time.
- All running events will be done on fully automatic timing. (FAT).
- All places will be done strictly by timing for each event
- 4 heats of 6 runners each per event (12 teams with 2 runners per team)
- Medals will be given for first through third place and ribbons for fourth through sixth for each event. A trophy will be awarded for the overall winner of the tournament, based on points.
- Please register their athletes within the proper weight classifications to keep things fair, If a coach or official thinks a person is way outside the boundary for a weight classification a scale will be on site to resolve the issue quickly.
- This meet is restricted to 7th and 8th graders only.
- Each athlete may compete in a maximum of 4 events.
- Changes may be made on the day of the meet. The athlete just needs to know who they are replacing when they are checking in. All seeding is final even if an athlete is being replaced. All placement will be based on time run in heats. There will be no finals.
- Long jump and shot put competitors will get 3 attempts each. Staring height for high jump for boys will be 48 and 40 for girls. Bar will be raised 2 inches at a time until there are 3 competitors left, and then it will be raised 1 at a time.
- Each team will be asked to volunteer one coach to help as a fly zone judge when the 4 x 100s are run.
