UPDATED SCHEDULE: The meet will begin at 5:30 pm. We will not be checking athletes in until 4:00 pm
5:30 pm- Open Mile
5:45 pm- Girls 2k Steeplechase
6:05 pm- Boys 2k Steeplechase
6:20 pm- Girls 800m
6:25 pm- Boys 800m (2 heats)
6:35 pm- Boys Mile (2 heats)
6:50 pm- Girls Mile (1 heat)
7:00 pm- Open 5,000m (2 heats)
7:45 pm- Boys 2 mile
8:00 pm- Men's Pro 5,000m
8:20 pm- Women's Mile
8:30 pm- Men's Pro Mile
8:40 pm- Open 400m (2 heats combined based on seed times)
We are excited to bring back the Night at the Island meet again in 2023! After last years success we can't wait to host you again this year! We will be offering the following races this year! All high school races, excluding the 2k steeple, will be paced to fast times based on the section! Goal times will be determined the week of the meet based on the quality of each field!
Open Races- 5,000m and Mile (get your mile qualifier for the Liberty mile)
High School Races- 2000m Steeplechase, 2 mile, 1 mile, and 800m
The high school sections will each have an elite section limited to 10 athletes. The elite section will be the top 10 athletes that sign up in descending order based on season best times. Each of those athletes will receive a full Hoka One One custom Night at the Island Racing Kit! Each winner of the invited high school sections will receive a free pair of Hoka shoes!
