Meet Information
Germantown Academy is Hosting it's 8th annual Shot Put Invitational Series! Details are below, and be sure to sign up for the "Last Shot" invite, link at the bottom of this page.
Events: Shot Put (Girls followed by Boys)
Where: Germantown Academy Field House.
When: Wednesday, December 13th, ALL ENTRIES IN BY December 11th, Midnight.
Meet begins at 4:00 pm (You may arrive at 2:45 or after 3:15). If you arrive before 2:45, you may drop off at the field
House, and Park (where?). If you arrive after 3:15, you may drop off at the FH and
park anywhere you find a spot. Busses should park at the Stadium. If you arrive between 2:45 and 3:15, you must park and/or
Drop off at the Stadium and walk down to the FH.

Other information: $10 per entry ($15 if requesting entry after registration has closed, Jan 11th or Day of). You may pay at the meet, cash or check made out to - Germantown Academy, or send the check by mail. Snacks and drinks will be for sale at the venue, and unique Meet T-shrits will be available $20 each.
Parking - You can park in the Patriot Lot, or in the Main lot. Map link is attached below. Note, that there is construction, so if you have been here in the past, the main entrance is not available, you must use the side doors by the creek:

Schools may send as many athletes as they like, but if the meet gets too large we will stop accepting entries. In the event that this happens, we will close registration and/or communicate with you.
Fieldhouse is brand new mondo, rubber surface. This is the surface that you will throw on. No spikes are allowed in the fieldhouse.
Order of Events: 4:00pm - Shot put - Girls followed by boys. Three throws. Top 8 go to finals.
Athletes can begin warming up at 3:15. You may arrive at the Field House at 2:45, or after 3:15. Note: Between the time 2:45-3:15 we have dismissal so it is very crowded. We advise that you avoid that chunk of time. Parking will become much more available after 3:15. Registration closes January 11th, at midnight. Should you miss the deadline, you may register late per athlete, $15 (if there is still room). Entries need to be in for seeding. Please list a recent mark for your athletes.
