Penn Wood's 1st Annual

Middle School Invitational Track Meet

Good Morning Coaches and Athletic Directors,

I hope that this email finds you all well. The Penn Wood Athletic Department would like to invite you to attend our 1st annual Middle School Invitational Track Meet on Wednesday May 15th 2024. The event will be held at our brand new Rap Curry Athletic Complex Kerr Field located at 1100 Baily Road, Yeadon, PA 19050. The meet will begin 1:00 pm with the track opening at 11:30 am for schools to arrive and the track will open at 12pm to warm-up. We are allowing 3 athletes or relays per running event. We are allowing 3 athletes in the Shot Put and the Long Jump. We are allowing 2 athletes in the high jump. The top 3 athletes or relays in each event will medal. All events are open to both girls and boys and will run Girls first and then Boys. We will run 2 Co-Ed (2 boys and 2 girls) events. The cost of the meet will be $150 per girls team, $150 per boys team or $300 for both. Make checks payable to:

11:30 am- Team Arrivals

12:00pm- Track Opens for Warm-Ups

12:30pm- Coaches Meeting

1:00pm - Shot Put Girls; High Jump Boys; Long Jump Girls

1:15pm- Running Events Begin and will take place in the following order:

1.       100m Hurdles Girls

2.       100m Hurdles Boys

3.       100m Girls

4.       100m Boys

5.       4x100m Co-ed

6.       4x400m Co-ed

7.       1600m Girls

8.       1600m Boys

9.       4x100m 7th Grade Girls

10.   4x100m 7th Grade Boys

11.   4x100m Girls Open

12.   4x100m Boys Open

13.   800m Girls

14.   800m Boys

15.   200m Girls

16.   200m Boys

17.   4x400m 7th Grade Girls

18.   4x400m 7th Grade Boys

19.   4x400m Girls Open

20.   4x400m Boys Open
