Meet Information
Please read the following information regarding this meet:
This event will take place on Monday May 13th at Upper Darby High School.
Teams may enter 5 athletes per event.
The cost is 10 dollars per thrower: checks made payable to Upper Darby Track Boosters.
Coaches meeting will happen at 3:15 and first throw sessions will start at 3:30pm (subjected to start earlier if all throwers are checked in before the start time).
Schedule of Events:
3:30 PM- Girls Shot Put, Girls Javelin, Boys Discus
4:30PM- Boys Shot Put, Boys Javelin, Girls Discus
Standards will be implemented. 4 throws. No finals. Top 3 in each event will medal.
Every thrower will have their first throw marked. Next three throws will be measured if they surpass the following standards (standards subjected to change based on entries of athletes):
BOYS:
Shot- 30ft
Discus- 90ft
Javelin- 90ft
GIRLS:
Shot- 25ft
Discus- 70ft
Javelin- 70ft
