Germantown Academy is Hosting it's 9th annual Shot Put Invitational Series! Details are below, and be sure to sign up for the "Last Shot" invite, link at the bottom of this page.
Events: Shot Put (Girls followed by Boys)
Where: Germantown Academy Field House.
When: Wednesday, December 11th, ALL ENTRIES IN BY December 10th, Midnight.
Meet begins at 4:00 pm (You may arrive at 2:45 or after 3:15). If you arrive before 2:45, you may drop off at the field House, and Park at the Staduim. If you arrive after 3:15, you may drop off at the FH and park anywhere you find a spot. Busses must park at the Stadium. If you arrive between 2:45 and 3:15, you must park and/or Drop off at the Stadium and walk down to the Field House.

Other information: $10 per entry ($15 if requesting entry after registration has closed, Jan 10th or Day of). You may pay at the meet, cash or check made out to - Germantown Academy, or send the check by mail. Snacks and drinks will be for sale at the venue, and unique Meet T-shrits will be available $20 each.
Parking - Everyone Must park at the Stadium and walk down to the Field House. Note that there is an event in the second floor of our Health And Wellness Center, and noone is allowed up there.

Schools may send as many athletes as they like, but if the meet gets too large we will stop accepting entries. In the event that this happens, we will close registration and/or communicate with you.
Fieldhouse is brand new mondo, rubber surface. This is the surface that you will throw on. No spikes are allowed in the fieldhouse.
Order of Events: 4:00pm - Shot put - Girls followed by boys. Three throws. Top 8 go to finals. Depending on meet size, we will add a 2nd ring, and in that case, the meet tends to move very fast.
Athletes can begin warming up at 3:15. All parking is at the Stadium. Registration closes December 10th, at midnight. Should you miss the deadline, you may register late per athlete, $15 (if there is still room). Entries need to be in for seeding. Please list a recent mark for your athletes.
