2026 California Last Chance Meet
Date: May 7, 2026
Place: California Area High School
Start Time: 4:00 PM
Coaches' Meeting: 3:30 PM.
Please do not arrive before 2:45 due to school dismissal traffic.
Upon entering the school campus main gates, buses will drive counter-clockwise around the high school building to the stadium entrance. Buses can park in front of the high school in the bus lanes. School vans can drive around and park behind the high school building. Lower lots will not be available to teams or spectators. Everyone must enter the facility from the top entrance to the stadium.
This meet is intended only for athletes who are realistically capable of qualifying for the WPIAL Individual Track & Field Championships. Any athlete not close to the qualifying standard may be rejected.
We have an eight-lane track, 4 sand pits, and a track-surface javelin runway. 1/4" spikes max.
Short lines will be established for all throwing events based on AA or AAA. Field events will receive 3 trials. There will be no prelims. Standard order of track events. All races will be final. FinshLynx timing will be used. Live results will be updated throughout the meet.
$15 per individual up to a maximum of $150 per school.
