Meet Information
Pine Grove Area will be hosting its annual Track and Field Invitational on Friday, April 17th, 2026.
- We have an all-weather track. The high jump area, long andtriple jump runway, and javelin runway also have an all-weathersurface. inch spikes only. FAT Timing will be used.
- Pole vault will not be a contested event.
- Only two participants from each school per event. One relay team from each school. Substitutions and scratches can be made until Wednesday April 15thth by 8AM.
- Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and ribbons for 4th, 5th, and 6th. A trophy will be awarded to the girls' and boys' team that accumulates the most points. Scoring for the meet will be 10-8-6-4-2-1.
- There will be designated areas for tent set-up. Please do not put them up on the home side bleachers (School Building Side)
- We will decide on a boxed alley or waterfall start for the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and the 4*800 relaythe day of the race. A two-turn stagger will be used for the 4*400 relay. If we feel there are a lot of competitors for the 800m, we may use more than one heat.
- Field event competitors will sign in at the event. For running events, there will be a paddock area inside the track, concession stand end of field.
There will be a meeting for coaches at 2:00 PM near the finish line area.
The field events will start at 2:30. If we can get boys long jump started earlier, we will.
Running events will start at 2:30. This is tentative.
Weigh-ins will begin at 1:30 near the stadium entrance.
Cost is $175 per single team. ($350 for both the girls' and boys' squad)
