Modesty Statement

In an effort to honor the Lord in an area that is not clearly defined in Scripture, the following statement regarding modest attire for uniforms at all track meets has been developed:

All schools are expected to meet the following minimum standards as it pertains to modesty:

  • If compression or spandex shorts/bottoms/speed suits are worn by either boys or girls, the athlete MUST wear a pair of loose shorts over them

  • If compression or spandex tops/speed suits are worn by girls, they must wear a looser jersey over it, completely covering the midriff and not revealing any cleavage.

  • These standards must be kept during the entire time the athletes are in attendance at the meet.

  • Athletes failing to comply with these standards will not be permitted to compete and could potentially be disqualified from events in which they have already participated.
