1st Tim & Susan Cook Memorial 1-Mile 2004

The first Tim & Susan Memorial ChambersFest One-Mile Race was held Friday, July 16 at 7pm in Chambersbuurg. The race began at the Chambersburg Middle School, and finished at the High School. Tim was a teacher and coach at Chambersburg HS. He and his wife Susan, were killed in an auto accident caused by a drunk driver on December 13, 2002. The women\'s open race was won by Sarah Vincenti in 5:29.3; the men\'s open by Matt Mummert in 4:31.7. The first high schoolers were Samantha Jones in 5:40.2 (2nd overall), and Tim Wertner in 5:01.8.
