Warrior Run Home Meet Instructions

RE: Home Meet at Warrior Run
We look forward to welcoming you and your team to Warrior Run this year for a home cross country meet on our lovely campus.
Bus Arrival, Parking and Camp: Parking and drop off will be at our lower parking lot near the baseball field. Camps can be set up down the dirt road around the barn area. Please do not camp out next to or under the barn.
The Course: All grass and gravel road with zero pavement. The course will be flagged: Blue - Straight, Red - Left, Yellow - Right.
High School - The 5k course is marked in white paint where the athletes will follow the white line the entire course. It starts down in the corner by the RR tracks and creek and starts heading west towards the sunset. The miles will be clearly marked and the race finishes down below the barn.
Middle School - The 3k course is marked in blue paint where the athletes will follow the blue line the entire course. It starts up by the historic Howard-Sloat House. The miles will be clearly marked and the race finishes down below the barn.
Race Starts:
Middle School Boys: 4:15
Middle School Girls: 4:40
High School Boys: 5:10
High School Girls 5:40
We will do our best to start the races at this time. If an athlete is still out on the course, we can start a race and get a time for that athlete separately.
Scoring Procedure:
The athletes will receive a numbered stick when they finish indicating their place. The athlete will return the stick to their coach who will record their place next to their name. This helps us have correct spelling and reduces errors. The coach will then bring their teams results to the scorers table as soon as possible after that race has finished.
Results:
Results will be emailed to you by the end of the day. A coach may take pictures of the computer after the meet is over. Please do not bother the scorer until the meet is over.
