Note Re: Age-restrictions
Philly Masters experienced increased attendance at several of our meets last year -- to a degree that stressed our ability to complete the full schedule of events by our exit deadlines. Therefore, it has become necessary that we restrict participation at these meets to a manageable level. Based upon discussions with the facilities available to us, restricting the meets to ages 14-and-older seemed like a workable first attempt. Youth athletes who are being bumped are encouraged to join either MAUSATF or United Aged Group clubs that compete in series of youth-oriented meets in the Philadelphia area. (Note: The Feb 6 Albright meet remains open to all ages.)

IMPORTANT DUE TO REQUIREMENTS NEGOTIATED WITH GLEN MILLS SCHOOLS:
THE GLEN MILLS MEETS ARE LIMITED TO ENTRANTS 14-AND-OLDER ONLY;
THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO THE GLEN MILLS CAMPUS BEFORE 7:30AM. DO NOT COME EARLY!!!
WE ARE RESTRICTED TO THE FIELD HOUSE AND SURROUNDING PARKING AREA ONLY NO OUTDOOR WARMUPS;
ATHLETES/SPECTATORS UNDER 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A COACH OR PARENT;
NO ONE YOUNGER THAN 18 MAY DRIVE ON CAMPUS.
Registration: Opens at 8:00am (no entry before 8:00am); Events begin at 8:45am.
Events: 55mH, 55m, 1-Mile Run, 400m, 1-Mile Race Walk, 800m, 200m, 3000m; Relays on request (time-permitting); Pole Vault, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump; (No WT or SW).
Track: Unbanked 200m. urethane track; SPIKELESS TRACK!!! SOFT-SOLED SHOES ONLY!!!
Track Event Heats: determined by seed time only not by age group or gender.
Field Events Procedures:
SP/LJ/TJ are normally open pit though officials may decide to flight entrants by age/sex/ability; number of jumps/throws (3-6) to be decided by officials based on number of entrants. SP competitors should bring their own implements in order to ensure the proper weight for their age/sex group.
HJ/PV will start with bar at its lowest required start setting, and then proceed upwards only unless officials have a good reason to do otherwise.
Entry Fees:
Philadelphia Masters Members $5 for one event; $10 for unlimited number of events
Non-members 19-and-older $10 per event
Non-members 14-18 $5 per event (3 event maximum)
Youth/H.S. Teams doing bulk registration $5 per athlete for one event; $10 for 2-3
DIRECTIONS to Glen Mills Schools:
Take Route 476 (the Blue Route) to Exit 5 Lima/Springfield and take Route 1 South (this is the Route 1 Media Bypass). This road will merge with Route 1; continue. You will pass Granite Run Mall on your right. Continue; you will pass the Franklin Mint on your left. At the third (when we last counted) traffic light after the Franklin Mint, make a right onto Stony Bank Road. Continue on Stony Bank Road for approximately 1.8 miles until you cannot go any further. Make a left. This is Glen Mills Road. Continue up the hill approximately -mile. The Glen Mills Schools main entrance is on the right directly across from the Glen Mills Schools sign at the top of the hill. Continue to the back of the campus; turn right and continue. The Hayes Recreation Center is at the end on the left. Enter Hayes only from the upper level

Directions to Albright College: From the east-west PA Turnpike take Exit 298 (Morgantown) and take Interstate 176 north to Route 422W. Stay on the 422W bypass approximately 5 miles to the Rt. 12E (Pricetown) exit. Follow Rt. 12E for about 3 miles to the 11th St. exit. Continue down the ramp to your right and onto 11th Street. At the 1st traffic light turn left onto Rockland Street. Proceed to the next traffic light and turn right onto 13th Street. At the 1st stop sign (2 blocks) the entrance to the LifeSports Center will be on your right. The track is on the 3rd floor.

FROM I-276 (PA TPK) take I-476 South to Exit 1 (McDade Blvd.). Go WEST on Mcdade Blvd. 0.4mi to Melrose Ave.
FROM I-95 take I-476 North to Exit 1 (Mcdade Blvd.) Go WEST on McDade Blvd 0.6mi to Melrose Ave.
BOTH turn left onto Melrose Ave. Go 0.3mi to 17th St. Turn left onto 17th St, through arch/gate, sweep right around athletic center to Parking and track access behind athletic center
