Abraham Sloboh (Milton Hershey) opened the season with a personal best 6.93 at the Alvernia Holiday Classic on Saturday. His previous best was a 7.00.
Sloboh held off Coatesville teammates Donte London and Amir Haskett. They ran 7.00 and 7.05 respectively. Xavier Diaz (Mount Carmel) was fourth with his 7.10, while Marcus Williamson (CD East) finished fifth.
Currently, Sloboh is tied for the PA No. 1 rank with Shaun McCoullum (George Washington), who ran 6.93 at the Franklin and Marshall HS Invite.
