Tuesday 12/29: Marine Corps Holiday Classic (The Armory Track & Field Center - New York, NY)

Lots of top PA talent will be headed to the Armory on Tuesday and there should be a number of PA#1s likely to fall. We'll see what Penn Wood brings in the relays at Burdette, but it looks like they're also sending some to the Armory.

The girls 300 meters is shaping up to be a good one. Some of Pennsylvania's top sprinters will all be packed into this one. Cheltenham's Chanel Brissett and Alexis Crosby will join Norristown's Jayana Webb (who is also entered in Burdette, so we'll see if she tries for both or opts for just one), Springside Chestnut Hill's Brooklynn Broadwater. Alexandria Kitchell of SCH and Springfield's Sydni Stovall are both listed as an alternate in the 300m.

The Penn Wood duo of Terri Turner and Agnes Mansaray will headline the girls' 800 meters with the PA#1 mark certainly in danger. Villa Maria's Grace Brown, along with Amy Willig of Great Valley and Stovall are also entered in the field.

Two big names are expected to toe the line in the girls' mile: Downigntown West's Aislinn Devlin and Friends' Central's Gabrielle Wilkinson. Devlin returns to competition after a great cross country season where she placed ninth overall at Nike Cross Nationals. Villa Maria Claire Brown, Emmaus' Katie Bacher, and Great Valley's Anna Willig are also entered. New Jersey also brings some strong competition, including Freehold Township's Ciara Roche, who placed sixth at NJ's Meet of Champions in XC.

In the boys' 800, Seneca Valley's Mike Kolor (PA#1 4:18 Mile) will look to stay hot against another great field. He was in a mile last week that was won in 4:09. Penn Wood's Dennis Manyeah (also entered in the high jump at Burdette) will also run the half.

The boys' mile includes Emmaus's Ryan Paradise in what should be another fast field.
