Friday 1/8: DVGTCA Indoor Meet #3 (Haverford College - Lutnick Center, Haverford, Pa.)

There's a lot going on outside of the state of Pennsylvania for the teams of the Keystone State, but for those looking to stay in state, Haverford will be the place to be on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the girls of the Delaware Valley hit the Lutnick Center at Haverford for some action.

In the relays, we may get a good battle between PA#1 North Penn and Great Valley in the 4x800. Penn Wood may stack a DMR before they head to the Armory on Saturday (we've seen them pull off a similar double before). But as we know, relays are usually a wait-and-see game.

In the sprints, Penncrest's Alicia Collier will run the 60 meters and Imhotep's Gloria Young will make their respective season debuts in those events. In the 60m hurdles, Taylar Dallas of Central, fresh off a win at Burdette last week, will look to stay hot.

The 400 meters may be the event of the night. We have Gabrielle Wilkinson of Friends' Central and Sarah Walker of Germantown Friends battling it out. We watched those two in a great 800m at indoor states last year and we'd love to see a repeat display. Neumann Goretti's Ariana Ruffin and North Penn's Uche Nwogwugwu will look to spoil the part though.

Academy of Notre Dame's Mikayla Schneider will make her season debut in the 800 meters, after taking third at indoor states last year.
