The Real Top 20: Boys 60m Rankings

Every week we give our top 20 rankings by event. The performances is the rankings are objective and meant to give an idea of where athletes stand based on the times or marks they turned in. Where it can get tricky is in the sprints and hurdles. Sometimes, like at The Armory and few other facilities, the 55 meters is contested. Other times, like at Lehigh University, the 60 meters is contested. At the end of each week we have to separate the two events in the rankings. The problem here, of course, is that we don't know who the true number one is in the sprints and hurdles.

Here's the Real Top 20--a combination of the 55m and 60m. We use our conversions ratios to determine a 60m time that corresponds with a 55m time and vice versa. For the rankings, we sorted by 60 meter conversion because, well, that is the distance contested at the PTFCA Indoor State meet. Check out what we came up with below:
