Voyzey's the favorite, but who will challenge?
Tyrone's Erika Voyzey has won a pair of state titles
outdoors, but she'll look to add an indoor gold to her resume on Sunday. Voyzey
cleared 5-8, the state-leading and US#4, twice this season at State College and
then 5-6 at the Kevin Dare Invitational. She's certainly familiar with Penn
State's facility. She's been stuck on 5-8 for a while, but will Sunday be the
day she goes higher?
Voyzey will have competition from Holy Redeemer's Caroline Banas. Banas' first meet of the season at the PTFCA Carnival landed her at PA#2 with a 5-7. That breakthrough performance makes her solid competition. Speaking of breakthrough performances, Central Bucks South's Valerie Przekop cleared 5-6 at the DVGTCA Meet of Champions this past week to throw herself into the conversation, and Downingtown East's Stacey Wolverton got over 5-6 as well a few weeks ago at the Varsity Classic.

Moira O'Malley of Souderton, Dazjanique Williams of Cedar Cliff and Dallas' Katie Kravitsky round out what should be a very competitive event. While Voyzey is the favorite, there will be plenty of others gunning for the upset.
