PERFORMANCE LIST

GIRLS: There's a lot to watch for on the girls' side on Thursday night. Most notably is the outdoor season debut of Girard College's Thelma Davies. Davies had a huge indoor season-her freshman year, by the way-where she won the state title in the 60-meter dash and then went on to break the national freshman class record in the event at NBNI. She'll come into the 100 meters that also features Norristown's Jonae Cook, Cheltenham's Brielle Lewis and Paul Robeson's Jameela Muhammad.

Davies won't run the 200, but it's still the most loaded event of the day. Cheltenham's Chanel Brissett leads the way in that race. But Norristown's Jayana Webb, Cheltenham's Bria Barnes, Muhammad, and Delaware Valley Charter's Tikki Nero.

But hey, the 400 is stacked, too. Entered in the quarter will be Penn Wood's Terri Turner, Springside Chestnut Hill's Alexandria Kitchell, Academy of Notre Dame's Mikayla Schneider, Springfield's Sydni Stovall, and Lenape Regional (NJ)'s Jasmine Staten.

In the 300-meter hurdles, Springside Chestnut Hill's Brooklynn Broadwater will hop back on the track a week after a US#2 in the 400 meter hurdles. There are other strong competitors in the race, though, including Cheltenham's Madison Langely-Walker and Penn Wood's Janae Pitt. Langely-Walker will be the heavy favorite in the long jump and triple jump. She's PA#8 in the long jump and PA#2 in the triple.

In the 800, Penn Wood's Agnes Mansaray is the top seed. Also in the race will be Lenape Regional (NJ)'s Megan Quimby, Stovall and Plymouth Whitemarsh's Taylor O'Brien. Also scheduled to run is Cheltenham 400 meter specialist Alexis Crosby.

Mansaray and Turner are both entered in the 1600 as well in another big field. Cheltenham's MaryGrace Rittler, Germantown Academy's Maggie Hallahan and Abington's Kelly Jawork (last week's breakthrough performer) make up what should be a fast race.

In the discus and javelin, look out for Upper Dublin's Jennifer McAneney. Abington's Sianni McLeod and Cheltenham's Ashley Alexander will also be in the discus with McAneney in addition to the shot put.

BOYS: In the 200, Delaware Valley Charter's Jahmair Craig is the top seed, but also in the field will be Penn Wood's Sekou Kanneh and Kenneth Johnson, Germantown Academy's KJ Cartwright and Plymouth Whitemarsh's Kaedon Sandcroft. Kanneh and Johnson are also entered in the 400 in a field that includes their teammate Ndiaga Seck as well as Haverford's Justin Moscoe. Kanneh (PA#5) is also in the 300 meter hurdles.

The 800 is shaping up to be a
competitive race between the Abington duo of Jake Good and Keion Broadus along with Cardinal O'Hara's Rob Morro and Council Rock South's Evan Kutney. Penn Wood's Dennis Manyeah is coming off injury and in the race. He did go sub-2 a few times indoors. In the 1600, Council Rock North's Ben Heintz is the top seed and Cheltenham's Will Griffen and Haverford's James Abrahams are also in the field. In the 3200, look out for Council Rock South's Joe Maguire and Masterman's Joe Previdi.

In the throws, Holy Ghost's Eric Kasperowicz will be the heavy favorite in both the shot and discus.

We could see some fast 4x800 early in the meet. Abington, Cardinal O'Hara, Penn Wood, Council Rock North, Upper Dublin and North Penn could all field fast teams. Then at night, Abington, Penn Wood and Upper Dublin will be teams to watch for in the 4x400. Abington sits at PA#1 in that relay.
