Arguably the weekend's most wide-open events will be the AAA girls' 300 hurdles. There's no clear-cut favorite here and most of the entries will have a shot at a medal.

Up top, the race should come down to South Western's Lynne Mooradian, Cheltenham's Madison Langley-Walker, and Susquehanna Township's Yasmin Brooks. The edge goes to Mooradian, the only one of the bunch to run sub-43 this season. Additionally, Mooradian is only contesting the 300 hurdles at states, while Brooks and Langley-Walker have busy schedules with other events all weekend long. Nonetheless, it'll still be very close for the title.

There are plenty of others in this field who will look to sneak up there. Penn Wood's Janae Pitt, Methacton's Caroline Duffy, and Plymouth Whitemarsh's Taylor O'Brien make up a strong District 1 contingent in the field. Pitt in particular has gone under 44 seconds this season. Central Valley's Maiah Yankello has been consistent all year long and could be in line for a breakout at states.
