Skolnekovich and Pawloski Lead Quaker Valley Individual and Team Sweep: Sharpsville Recap

GIRLS RECAP

Quaker Valley's Anna Pawloski made up some ground on the field and came out on top in the girls' varsity race at Sharpsville. She timed in at 18:58 to get under 19 minutes for the first time in her career. Pawloski was 47th at this meet last season, so the senior has seen a massive improvement into 2016.

Pawloski's Quaker Valley team claimed the team crown in dominating fashion. They scored just 53 points for amjaor victory over second place Greater Latrobe (131 points) and third place from Ohio, Amherst Steele (139 points).

The one who took out the race hard was Warren Area's Naomi Hahn. The freshman wound up second in a very impressive race, clocking an 18:58. Previously, Hahn was fourth earlier in the season at the McDowell Invitational. Watch her interview below:
