Lancaster-Lebanon League Championships (Ephrata, PA)

BOYS: It's been a special season for JP McCaskey's Nathan Henderson. With the Noah Affolder capturing a lot of attention within District 3 country, we can't forget just how great Henderson has been performing. Like Affolder, Henderson went sub-15 at the Carlisle Invitational. He'll be favored to take his third straight Lanc-Leb title on Tuesday. Can he challenge Vince McNally's 15:02 course record?

Ephrata's Zach Lefever won't go down without a fight, though. The senior has also had a great season. He was second to Henderson at Big Spring earlier this season, and then took second to Nick Dahl at Paul Short. He'll be gunning for the upset here.

Hempfield will be the heavy team favorites. They were the top PA squad at Paul Short. They have a talented top three in Christian Groff, Nick Norton, and Coby Mattes that will look to lead them to a third straight league title.

GIRLS: Manheim Township, the second-ranked PA squad, will go for its second straight league crown, and they'll be heavily favored to do so. Junior Leah Sassaman has become the #1 runner on MT and a legitimate threat for the individual league crown. Kira Jenkins, Ava Pasewicz, and Hannah Dieterle could all place within the top ten.

The individual favorite, though, is the defending champion Jamie Zamrin of Cocalico. She blasted a 5K PR of 18:12 at Paul Short a few weeks ago and seems primed to take another league title. Garden Spot's Cheyenne Hansen should also contend for the title, JP McCaskey's Isabella Fife (winner of this meet as a freshman in 2014) has also had a strong season and can contend.

Elizabethtown Area, led by Katie Locker, JP McCaskey, Ephrata, and Hempfield are among the other teams to watch for.
