Girls' SOL American Conference Championship Recap
MaryGrace Rittler hasn't been running cross country long, but the Cheltenham junior is already leaving her mark. Rittler, who played field hockey in the fall the last two years discovered her talent for distance running on the track this past winter and spring. Now she's an XC league champion.
Rittler won handily in a big PR of 18:45. Second place Hayley Ross of Wisshickon was over a minute back in 19:48. Rittler's teammate Catherine Kluchinski was third in 19:58. Watch an interview with Rittler below:
Upper Dublin took the team race, led by fourth place Saddie Gustafson, who clocked in at 20:01. Hatboro-Horsham, behind Nicole Neborg's fifth place finish was second.
