Plenty of Talent Set For Penn State on Saturday: Kevin Dare Invitational Preview

Boys' Sprints/Hurdles Preview

Before he calls State College his home in the fall, senior Terrance Laird will toe the line for Coatesville on Saturday. Laird, currently US#5 in the 200 meters, will return to that very event. He ran 21.75 on a flat track to start off his season last month. Now on the banks, there's no telling how quick Laird can go.

In the 60 meters, Ambridge Area's Isaac Elliott will return to the track where he took fourth in the state last winter. This will be the senior's indoor season debut. Susquehanna Township's Marquez Wright (PA#3 in the 55 meters) and Jalik Smith will look for the upset. Elliott will then return in the 400 meters.

Pennridge's Alex Dimon looks to be the favorite in the 60 meter hurdles. Dimon, currently PA#4, won this race at Kevin Dare last year in an 8.67, which matches his current PR and season best. Watch Dimon's win from last year's Kevin Dare Invite in comeback fashion below:
